Our Program
The Artisans Center of Virginia (ACV) supports and promotes the culture of Virginia artisans through education, entrepreneurship, research, galleries and exhibitions. The Center believes that quality, handmade fine craft strengthens the cultural, educational and economic vitality of local communities.
To that end ACV’s launches it’s first statewide annual Craft Conference and Business Institute as a high-profile event designed to provide artisans with business resources, craft workshops and networking opportunities.
The ACV Craft Conference is a gathering of peers so in addition to featuring notable luminaries of business and craft several workshops are provide by volunteers. Volunteers are what make our conference such a great success, adding spirit, warmth, community.... and talent! We absolutely could not present such a high quality program and keep our registration price low without the support of our many volunteers!
